It has been a very epic fall into the Autumn chill here in Seattle. I have made my shorts last, by wearing tights, yet soon I will no longer be able to do such a thing. So, here is my latest inspiring polyvore board. I absolutely love this Burberry Prorsum trench coat! It falls into the new, HOT burgundy trend, yet still holds it’s own as a classic, that will forever be timeless. I envision wearing little to nothing underneath the trench with the must have Givenchy Boots. I absolutely must have them, do you think Santa will bring them to me? I have been an extremely good girl this year. I love the contrast of the turquoise, sea green clutch. The necklace begs to be seen with my little black slip dress, that is in creation. I am finding much needed inspiration in the online realm, and plan on taking my skills to the next level. There will be a post soon, about my grand scheme and exciting new plans. I really desire the companionship of a male counterpart, one that has a great eye to detail and can capture the most amazing photographic memories of the amazing outfits that I embody daily…I have fallen upon someone, yet I have yet to seal the deal. I am praying that we work well together. Wish me luck, that it falls into place the way it should, I will keep you posted. With the chillier nights, come the autumn festivals. The balls; Halloween {ball}, Thanksgiving {ball}, Winter {ball}, all of these festivities require a gown. Yet, for someone like myself, that may feel too made up; girly in a gown with heels, I would pair my gown with a 1920′s Military-esq  Jacket and gold-adorned combat boots. The purse can either be carried as a clutch, thrown over a shoulder or swung over the body; either way it’s a win-win situation.

Cris Urena is a Dominican Republic born GODDESS! She has this sort of Chanel Iman meets Shingai Shoniwa look, yet all in her own grace. I am smitten by her. I love that there are more and more beautiful colored woman walking the runway, pioneering the music scene and owning/dominating in sports; typically considered for caucasians only. Cris Urena is one of these talented woman that I am sure we will be seeing more of. Just look at how beautiful and versatile she is.

Dolce&Gabbana FW 2013 is exquisite. I have always been quite fond of these designers and their collections. Yet, this one easily embodies my soul and spirit. The Leopard print, the Italian Renaissance, the red with black and white (perfect color combo), The slight masculine with feminine. Velvet and Tweed, Oh MY! It oozes and exudes the B.F.L.Y Mama Style.

I am sorry for my lack of updates. I started into my Spring Quarter at school and I am already playing catch up! I  feel as though I have been playing catch up with my life since I moved. boy am I looking forward to this weekend! This quarter I only have classes on monday, wednesday and friday and this friday is GOOD FRIDAY, which means no school until Monday and my English professor has a conference Monday, so I will have until 1:30 Monday the 9th to get my apartment and school affair in order! Baby Steps are for Amateurs

I am finally taking the leaps necessary to make my blog, show the lifestyle I lead.

1. I bought the domain!

2. New Design

3. Bloglovin widget

In the next months, look for a twitter widget, a facebook page, a complete new/personal design, daily photos of me, 5 entries/blog posts a week. I am finding that it is necessary to take bigger steps, then baby steps that are holding me back and making my life seem unfulfilled. I hope to get at minimum 5 followers a month.

Mila Kunis’s dress by Elie Saab is by far my favorite of all the dresses at the Oscars’ 2011!
I love how the peek-a-boo lace on her chest looks like her bra! I love the color and the train! I am so inspired by this dress that I am going to try my hand at making a knock-off. I will post pictures during my process. This is going to be my Spring Project! I am so excited to start designing. I am off to sketch my version of this dress.
