Today is the first day of the fall quarter and I am already feeling overwhelmed with so much to do. I need to meditate. Right after I clean the bathroom, oops…anyway I have been spending too much time talking about men in the last couple weeks, so here it is, my vow of celibacy towards giving any man room to breathe on my blog for the rest of the year (unless it has something to do with a designer or business relationship I have with them). I had a couple business meetings this morning and need to send some emails. Yet, I spent way too much time running errands, which. So, instead I sit on my couch watching season one of SATC, that’s Sex and the City for all you peeps that aren’t hip to the hop. Surprisingly so, it helps me relax as well as inspires me.

So, let’s get you an update on what is happening in my life. Earlier this month I had a business adventure with, at the time, potential investors. So, that interview/meeting went really well and until I have more information to share without giving away the whole enchilada, I will leave you with this, in 8 weeks my website will be up and running, my clothing will be in 3 definite locally owned small businesses in the Capital Hill, University District and Belltown area, and I will be a legitimate small business owner!!!!!!!!! Hip-Hop Hooray. On another note, I started school today, my last quarter at Seattle Central before embarking on my journey through/into Seattle University Albers School of Business for Marketing, another exciting note! OH, and the biggest news to hit the doorsteps of the Shaw/BFLYsouljah Couture residence since Sex and The City 2 is my JUKI INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINE!!!! Let’s just say this has been the long awaited part of my business I have missed out on getting sooner than later (due to it’s relatively expensive cost $1700-$2000). It seems life is actually quite splendid for me, not that it always isn’t (I’m an optimist). How are you handling the season change? anything exciting hit your doorstep lately? I would love to hear what, who, when and where you are in life…till next time
